Choose the free demo in this particular build
This launcher opens JohnImril’s Diablo Web project. Choose Play Free Demo to use its demo route; importing files is a separate option for owners of the required game data. It is a different build from the Diablo Shareware player elsewhere in this catalogue. Do not assume their save formats or features are interchangeable.
From the opening movie to Tristram
After downloading the demo, follow the game’s own menus to choose a character and enter a name. The opening movie may finish before the character screen appears. The checked demo reached Tristram with its health, mana and action interface visible. Use the in-game controls for a new run or continuation.
Save before changing projects
A page bookmark is not a character backup. Use the project’s save or export tools where offered, and keep the same browser profile if it relies on local storage. The fullscreen icon changes the view of this same iframe; Restart replaces its window. The source is available separately through the menu.
