A falling-fruit puzzle with a clear goal
Drop fruit into the container. Two fruit of the same size can combine into the next size, changing the shape of the pile and opening space for later drops. Aim for larger merges without letting the pile stay above the red limit. Chain reactions can change a careful arrangement after the fruit lands.
Aim first, then release
Move the mouse to aim and click to drop. On touch screens, drag to position the fruit and release to let it fall. The left and right arrow keys move the aim; Space drops. Wait for the fruit below to settle before committing to another drop. Fullscreen leaves this same physics simulation open.
Leave space for the small fruit
A large fruit near one side can provide a stable base, but a small fruit trapped underneath can block the next merge. Try to keep compatible sizes within reach of each other. There is no single guaranteed stacking pattern: the way round fruit roll and the order of incoming pieces both change the next decision.
Suika-style does not mean the official Suika Game
This page runs Merge Drop from mashukui’s open-source Web Games collection under the MIT licence. It follows the falling-and-merging fruit idea, with its own browser implementation and presentation. It is separate from Aladdin X’s official Suika Game and Suika Game Planet. Searches for console editions, official downloads or multiplayer features describe different products.
One more attempt, or another kind of merge
Best scores can be kept by this browser when local storage is available. The catalogue bookmark saves the address rather than the positions of the falling fruit. After a run, 2048 offers a quieter merge puzzle with a square grid and directional moves. Snake changes the pace to quick turns; both are available through the image recommendations.
