A live Quake III Arena browser project
The source for this player is q3.pieter.com, an unofficial non-commercial preservation project credited to Pieter and Q3JS. The opening screen shows the current arena, the next map and a live player list. Those details describe the server at that moment; this page does not promise a particular arena or a fixed population. It is a multiplayer route rather than a guide to a solo campaign.
From player name to arena
Enter a name and choose Play inside the embedded project. Allow the engine and map resources to finish loading before looking for a match. The host manages the connection and any current session requirements. A first resource download is different from installing a separate launcher. If the page stops advancing, compare its original source in a new tab before discarding the current attempt.
Movement, aim and a larger scene
Click the scene for keyboard and mouse focus and follow the current in-game controls. The host also advertises mobile and gamepad support; the controls that appear on your device belong to that project. The fullscreen icon beneath this player changes the view without replacing the iframe. Escape may release mouse capture before it returns you from the browser’s fullscreen mode.
Come back to the game you chose
The picture’s heart remembers this launcher on this device. It does not keep a place on the server or save a live arena match. QuakeWorld and Quake II in the recommendations are separate projects, with different engines and current maps. Choose one when you want another arena, or use a puzzle for a quieter break while keeping this catalogue open.
