A practical Rogue route for your next run
For a first focused route, inspect Combat and its Blade Flurry milestone; choose Assassination when you want to develop the poison route, or Subtlety when you want to explore its defensive and reset mechanics. This is a way to choose a plan, not a measured best-DPS ranking.
Keep the zone and difficulty consistent while testing a change. A build that cannot reach its key milestone with your current talent points needs a progression route, not a copied endgame allocation.
Combat, Assassination and Subtlety at a glance
| Tree | 10 points | 20 points | 30 points |
|---|---|---|---|
| Combat | Blade Flurry | Adrenaline Rush | Killing Spree |
| Assassination | Deadly Poison | Mutilate | Toxic Bloom |
| Subtlety | Cheat Death | Preparation | Shadow Dance |
These names and thresholds were visible in the original v0.139.2 menu. Read the active tooltip before spending points: the milestone name alone does not describe its whole interaction.

Why inspect Blade Flurry first?
The checked Blade Flurry tooltip required ten points in Combat and added nearby-target damage to Sinister Strike and Eviscerate. That makes it a useful interaction to examine when groups are the problem. It does not establish that every Combat allocation outperforms poison or Subtlety.
Choose upgrades that support the skills you actually have. If your run ends before the relevant skill or milestone is active, work on reaching that point safely before judging its final strength.
Build with the points you have earned
The reviewed menu showed zero points on a fresh Rogue, talent experience towards the next point, a maximum of 51, and three specification slots. It states that runs grant talent experience and respecs are free. Lower rows require investment in the same tree.
Write down the next reachable milestone and fill the required earlier rows with a reason. Spreading a small budget across three trees can postpone every interaction you wanted to test. Revisit the plan as new points become available rather than pretending a new character starts with a complete build.
A repeatable test is more useful than a tier claim
Use one zone, difficulty and starting setup. Change one talent decision, then note where the run fails: crowded packs, a boss, poor access to experience or an upgrade combination that never came together. Those failures call for different adjustments.
Keep survival and positioning in the comparison. More apparent damage is not useful when you cannot create space long enough to use it. A single run is a clue, not proof of a universal ranking.
Check the version before importing someone’s build
Our original menu check on 3 November 2026 showed v0.139.2. Old screenshots can use different tooltips or thresholds. Compare the build’s version with the number in your live game, then review its spell and item assumptions.
ASBuilder guidance explains the separate planning workflow. Version notes separate confirmed observations from unverified balance claims. Return to the original game through the play link above when ready.
